Pure and Fe-doped Al 2 O 3 nanoparticles (NPs) were synthesized with different iron doping percentage of 1, 3, and 5 mol% employing sol gel technique with AlCl 3 , FeCl 3 as well as ethylene glycol (EG) and Polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP) stabilizers as precursors. The XRD results indicated that the hexagonal structure of Fe/Al 2 O 3 nanocomposite with alpha phase was formed by the substitution of Fe 3+ ions in the alumina network. The sizes of the NPs obtained for the pure samples and doped samples at percentage dopant of 5% were 35 and 28 nm, respectively.The results of FTIR optical analysis showed the vibrational bond at the wavelength of 448 cm −1 , indicating the Al-O band in the sample. The UV-DRS analysis showed that the energy band gap for the pure NPs was 4 eV, but with increase in iron dopant up to 5%, it decreased to 3.42 eV. In addition, the results of photoluminescence (PL) analysis demonstrated that with increase in doping percentage, the PL intensity diminished. VSM magnetic analysis showed that with increase in iron dopant, the ferromagnetic state emerged in the NPs at saturation magnetism of 0.136 emu/g. Finally, photocatalytic experimental results demonstrated that 5% Fe-doped Al 2 O 3 NPs effectively degrade MB approximately 53%.

This study aimed to investigate the effects of complementary rainbow trout diets with different concentrations of Celmanax® (active compounds of Saccharomyces cerevisiae with mannan-oligosaccharide (MOS)) on immune responses, pressure resistance and resistance to Yersiniosis. Rainbow trout were fed with a diet containing various concentration levels of S.cerevisiae with MOS (prebiotic) (0, 0.1, 0.5 and 1%) for 60 days. While evaluating some of the parameters of the immune system, the blood samples were prepared from the tuber stem vein every 30 days. On day sixty of the study, various stress tests including temperature increases, hypoxia and induction of experimental disease with Yersinia ruckeri were also performed in all the experimental groups.
Herein, a comparative computational study inquiring about ground state magnetic properties of a nanometer‐size bowtie graphene quantum dot with an AA‐stacking bilayer trapezoid counterpart based on the single‐orbital Hubbard model and density functional theory (DFT) is presented. The structures have an antiferromagnetic ground state with a 1‐to‐1 correspondence between the local spin polarizations of the two systems. The tight‐binding energy spectra look different. However, a similar fashion in the energy spectra emerges after considering the Hubbard interaction term. A comparison between the spatial distributions of edge states shows that the wave functions in both structures are sublattice polarized by proposing a specific unit cell in the bilayer case. In addition, the on‐site coulombic repulsion consequence on the rising of magnetization and the size of the local magnetic moment has been considered.
The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of a prebiotic (Celmanax®) containing yeast cell wall with mannan oligosaccharides on the haematological and serum biochemical parameters in rainbow trout. Three levels of prebiotic (0, 0.1, 0.5 and 1 %) were mixed into pellets. Fish (19.08±1.45 g) were fed a supplemented commercial diet for 60 days. Blood samples were colected from the onset and on days 30 and 60 of the trial to measure the haematological and serum biochemical parameters in rainbow trout. The results showed significant differences in haemoglobin, mean corpuscular volume,mean corpuscular haemoglobin concentration, white blood cells and neutrophil count between control and all test groups (p<0.05). The highest and the lowest white blood cells and neutrophil count (on day 60) were observed in the 0.1 %, prebiotic-received and control groups, respectively. Also, the result showed significant differences in Alkaline phosphatase enzymes, serum glutamic oxaloacetic transaminase, Serum glutamic-pyruvic transaminase, between the test and control groups(p<0.05) while non-significant elevation of blood urea nitrogen, creatinine and total protein levels was found in the Celmanax®-received groups (p>0.05). These results suggest that the Celmanax® supplementation enhances white blood cells and neutrophil count, and changes some biochemical parameters in rainbow trout.
