A study has been performed of the electrical transport properties of an Li3VO4:Li3PO4:Li3BO3 melt. The material is a mixed conductor and has a high electrical conductivity at room temperature ( sigma approximately 2.0*10-2 Omega -1 m-1). The dominant part in sigma is ionic. The material melts at 1135 K and is not hygroscopic. For these reasons, it qualifies to be used as electrode material in electrochemical devices using Li+ ion active superionic solids. The XRD pattern for the material has also been reported.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
