By means of mathematical modeling of the distribution of the temperature field in the workpiece during stack cutting of cold rolled metal, the results of heat distribution in the pipe material were obtained at various feeds S. The temperature field of the pipe material at feeds 0.008 m/ s (0.0012 mm / tooth) - 0.028 m / s (0.0042 mm / tooth) is studied when cutting a stack of blanks from workpieces with a diameter of 42 mm.
A new approach to the problem of IFE laser driver based on generation and amplification of radiation with controllable coherence proposed and realized at P.N.Lebedev Physical Institute of the RAS had initiated the studies of an interaction efficiency of a partially coherent radiation with matter.Recent results of experiments carried out with the aim to study of the physical processes in targets under illumination by the laser with controllable coherence of radiation are presented and discussed, especially such important laser-matter interaction phenomena as absorption and scattering of laser radiation, the laser radiation harmonic generation, X-ray generation, crater formation and plasma expansion under laser pulse, conversion of laser radiation by means of nonlinear crystals, influence of coherence degree on the processes mentioned above.

A double beam laser method for measuring attenuation coefficients of sea-water throughout the 414-662 nm wavelength region is presented. The radiant source is a pulsed wavelength-tunable dye laser. with a spectral width of 0.01 nm. A test with de-ionised filtered distilled water is described.
The method of high-speed cutting of cold rolled steel with circular saws is one of the most common in modern mechanical engineering. But often, cutting cold rolled metal is accompanied by the formation of a burr at the ends of the blanks. This machining method is characterized by high productivity, significant tool wear and intense heating of the workpiece due to high cutting speeds. The thickness of this burr is directly dependent on the pipe material, the temperature in the cutting zone and the saw feed. The article proposes a mathematical relation to determine the thickness of the burr by these parameters.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
