Methods. During the study of the specifics of the implementation of crisis reengineering of business processes in the field of tourism services, the following methods of scientific knowledge were applied: analysis and synthesis – when identifying actual methods, tools and measures for the implementation of crisis reengineering of business processes, in particular, taking into account the specifics of the field of tourism; structuring – when characterizing influencing factors, elements, characteristic features and problems of implementing crisis reengineering of business processes; comparison – when comparing approaches to defining the term of crisis reengineering of business processes of an enterprise. Results. The theoretical and methodological foundations of the implementation of business process reengineering were studied, scientific approaches to the definition of the term «crisis business process reengineering» were summarized. The main goals and tasks of crisis reengineering are characterized, the constituent elements of the process of its implementation at the enterprise are separated. The specifics of working with human resources in the process of crisis reengineering are highlighted. The factors affecting the success of the reengineering of business processes of the enterprise were studied, the threats and complications that arise in the process of reengineering were separated. The specific features of the functioning of business processes in the field of tourism are analyzed. Features and possible problems of crisis reengineering of business processes of enterprises in the tourism industry are characterized. Novelty. On the basis of the study of scientific and methodological approaches to the definition of the essence of the term “crisis reengineering of business processes”, a proper interpretation of this category was formed, which, unlike the existing ones, combines both domestic and foreign experience in studying the peculiarities of crisis reengineering. A single system of interrelated elements has been formed, which in the complex make up the main tasks of crisis reengineering of business processes. The basic principles and possible risks in the process of implementing crisis reengineering at enterprises in the tourism industry are separated. Practical value. The set of tools and measures proposed by the author for the successful implementation of crisis reengineering of business processes at an enterprise in the field of tourism takes into account the specific conditions of conducting economic activity in this industry and is a reliable basis for improving the quality of tourist services and strengthening the competitiveness of the enterprise.

У статті розглянуто поняття та властивості бізнес-процесів на сучасних підприємствах, обґрунтовано технологічні аспекти та роль реінжинірингу в розвитку бізнес-процесів, інноваційних менеджменту та маркетингу сучасних компаній. Деталізовано напрямки реінжинірингу залежно від концепції менеджменту підприємства. Доведено, що своєчасний та ефективний реінжиніринг забезпечує підвищення рентабельності та маржинальності підприємства, шляхом зміни системи управління окремих бізнес-процесів чи окремих циклів, підходів до кадрової політики та системи мотивації праці, забезпечення високої якості продукції та зменшення її собівартості. Реінжиніринг бізнес-процесів знижує витрати та тривалість циклу і рівень помилок. Проаналізовано перешкоди та недоліки реінжинірингу: нехтування попередніми здобутками компанії, інгуманність, витрати часу та матеріальних засобів.
In management, there are many management approaches that can improve the efficiency of the enterprise. At the same time, the priority of enterprise development is the implementation of innovative activities. To succeed in this area, companies are changing management approaches, organizational structures and business models. However, in the conditions of constant aggravation of competition, achievement of high indicators of activity of the enterprise is best provided at the expense of reengineering of business processes. The innovation of reengineering is that it combines the use of the prerogatives of computer technology, human resource management technology and business process change. In the current economic conditions, the speed of reaction of all subsystems of the enterprise and the efficiency of operations are of particular importance and are a necessary condition for its effective operation in conditions of constant competition. In this situation, reengineering is the most effective, because it helps to increase the efficiency of the enterprise by changing the business model it uses. Thus, the study of reengineering procedures, its principles and objectives is relevant today. The purpose of the study was to generalize theoretical approaches to the basic principles, types and objectives of business process reengineering as a tool for effective enterprise management. The methodological basis of the study was the work of domestic and foreign scientists on the problems of reengineering and change management. Business process reengineering is a thorough rethinking and radical redesign of business processes of companies that want to significantly improve their performance. It is used in cases when it is necessary to make an informed decision on the reorganization of activities: radical transformations, business restructuring, replacement of existing management structures with new ones, etc. Through the effective use of business process reengineering tools can make the company more flexible to changes in the environment and more resilient in a competitive environment. Thus, business process reengineering involves a decisive, radical restructuring of business processes and the foundations of management to significantly increase the competitiveness of the enterprise in the market and significantly increase the efficiency of the enterprise as a whole system.
