Abstract

The paper considers a professionally-oriented approach used for teaching a foreign language in the process of preparing a future agriculture professional, from the standpoint of requirements a specialist meets in modern economic and social development, as well as the possibility of updating these requirements in modern qualifications in the educational standard. Modern qualification characteristics of a specialist, that is, the existing model, most fully satisfies only professional requirements, mainly socio-psychological, but does not fully ensure the development of personal and creative qualities.
