The work aimed to study the effect of high temperatures on the comfort of keeping Holstein cows with different options for loose housing. The study of the effect of high temperatures on the comfort of keeping cows was carried out in the period from 02.07–12.07 2018 in the Kyiv region. Three farms were selected with loose cow housing systems and various options for the level of animal comfort. The first option is loose housing in an easy-to-collect room. The second option is loose keeping in an easily collectible room with fans and a water irrigation system. The third option is for walking and feeding grounds with sheds. During the daily observation period, the main indicators of the microclimate in the recreation area (air temperature, relative humidity, wind speed), respiration rate, assessment of the severity of respiration and heat load indices were determined. The best performance among the studied housing technologies was recorded on a farm using irrigation and ventilation systems. During the period of the highest heat stress (12.00–16.00 h), the air temperature (Т) did not exceed 29.05±0.50 °С, the respiratory rate – 77.0±1.33 times/mins, the environmental stress index (ESI) – 39.07±0.14 °С, the heat load index (HLI) – 73.56±2.48. The lowest indices of the comfort of keeping were in an easily assembled room: T – 31.1±2.24 °C, respiratory rate – 82.0±1.80 times/min, ESI – 41.62±0.17 °C, HLI – 77.88±0.64. Intermediate indicators were for the content on the stern area: T – 30.3±2.31 °C, respiratory rate – 76.0±1.82 times/mins, ESI – 41.62±0.17 °C, HLI – 77.42±0.51. In all options for keeping cows, an increase in temperature to an average daily +27.7 °C became a significant stress factor that significantly influenced the dynamics of the respiration rate, the assessment of the severity of respiration, the value of ESI and HLI. It was found that for keeping cows in buildings using irrigation and ventilation systems, as well as on walking grounds, the indicators of the temperature-humidity index (THI), frequency and severity of respiration during the period of maximum temperature load (12.00–16.00 h) were lower than those for keeping in an easily assembled room.

Дефіцит білкового харчування є актуальним як до населення країн з сталим економічним розвитком так і до розвиваючих. Проблема якісного та безпечного харчування населення була і залишається не вирішеною в усьому світі. Отже питання збалансування раціонів для населення є одним із найбільш актуальним для створеної при Організації Об’єднаних Націй продовольчої та сільськогосподарської організації (ФАО). Дослідженню амінокислотного складу білків молока корів приділено значна кількість робіт. Наші дослідження та їх результати направленні на виявленні змін амінокислотного складу білків молока за захворювання корів на кетоз та оцінки харчової цінності молока. От же результати наших досліджень показують, що є зміни вмісту в сторону зменшення майже всіх амінокислоти і особливо не замінних які відіграють важливу роль у житті людини так як вони не синтезують ся в організмі. Так, за нашими даними вміст амінокислоти валін зменшений 22,6 %. Разом з тим бачимо що зменшився також вміст амінокислоти Фенілаланін на 10,1%. Амінокислота лейцин при захворюванні на кетоз знаходиться практично на одному рівні. Вміст незамінної амінокислоти ізолейцин за кетозу зменшився на 39,4%. Наші дослідження показують що кількість треоніну та метіоніну зменшена на 40,2 та 80,7 % відповідно. В білку молока корів є одна із амінокислот яка вважається напівнезамінною для людини, це - аргінін. При захворюванні на кетоз вміст аргініну зменшений на 33,3 %. Аналіз результатів дослідження вмісту замінних амінокислот показав що значна їх частина також має негативну тенденцію. Так, вміст таких амінокислот як пролін та гістідін зменшився на 20,9 та 22,3 % відповідно. Також на 4 та 13,2 % відповідно зменшився вміст таких амінокислот як гліцин та глютамінова кислота. Суттєве зменшення вмісту відзначили у таких амінокислот як лізин та тирозин на 40,8 та 69,5 %. Але нами також відмічено що вміст таких замінних амінокислот як серин та аспаргинова кислота збільшився на 10,5 та 9,5 % відповідно. Отже таке захворювання як кетоз корів призводить не тільки до зниження продуктивності а і до втрати біологічної цінності молока та вироблених із нього молочних продуктів.

Efficiency of Using Feeds for Milking Cows of Different Breeds

In recent decades, Ukraine has undergone significant changes in the breed composition of cattle. The study aimed to study the effectiveness of the use of feed by dairy cows of Simmental and Holstein breeds. The research was conducted in PE «Kalynsky Klyuch» p. Kalyna Kamyanets, Podilskyi district, Khmelnytsky region. A scientific and economic experiment was conducted on two groups of dairy cows according to the methods generally accepted in zootechnics. Analyzing the supply of dairy cows with nutrients, it should be noted that the animals of both experimental groups with a surplus were provided with dry matter – by 6.7-8.8% of demand, metabolic energy – by 1.5-2.9%, starch – by 12.9-32.6%, while deficient in fiber – in the range of 5.6-10.6%, crude fat –2.5-16.6% and digestible protein – 2.5-4.0%. Of the mineral elements, 37.6-39.1% of phosphorus, 4.4-23.4% of copper, 41.2-47.5% of zinc, 49.1-61.4% of cobalt and 42.5-58.1% iodine. There was an excess of such elements as calcium, magnesium, potassium, sulfur, iron. Thus, the feeding of experimental animals on the main indicators provided their needs according to modern detailed standards. During the experimental period, the milk yield per cow in the first group was 4783.25 kg, while in the experimental group – 4924.79 or 3.0% more (p<0.95), with an average daily milk yield of Simmental cows at the level of 15.63 kg, and Holstein – 16.09 kg. The fat content in the milk of cows of the first group averaged 3.75% during lactation, which is less than in animals of the second group by 0.56% (p>0.95), while the protein concentration in animals of the Simmental breed was at the level 3.07%, and Holstein – lost to them only 0.02% without a significant difference. Thus, Holstein animals, although with little advantage, used energy and feed nutrients more efficiently than Simmental peers.
