Zur Klassifizierung der Phi Tong Luang-Spraehe – Ein koinmunikationstheoretischer Versuch –

Abstract: Auf ihrer Hinterindien-Expedition 1936-37 war es dem Forseherehepaar Hans Adolf und Emmy BERNATZIK als erste gelungen, die primitivste noch lebende Völkergruppe, die wir kennen, die Phi Tong Luang, zu untersuchen. In den folgenden Ausführungen geht es um die Klassifizierung der Sprache der Phi Tong Luang unter dem Gesichtspunkt der Zuverlässigkeit der Nachrichtenübermittlung und um den Vergleich in dieser Hinsicht mit den Sprachen des sinoaustrischen Raumes.
