Aging is a process that starts in intrauterine life and continues until death and is not recycled. Sexuality is a need that is affected by the cultural values and moral elements of the society, involving the entire body and mind, including reproduction and sexual satisfaction, which starts in fetal life and lasts for a lifetime. In studies conducted, it is observed that in the societies, where sexual activity is thought to be decreased or adversely affected in the elderly period, women are more affected by this situation. In some studies, older women find sexuality important. Sexually active women have high sexual satisfaction. Sexuality for women includes not only sex but also good times spent with the partner. With advancing age, biological and hormonal changes can affect sexual function negatively. Cultural factors, oppression of society, religious beliefs also affect sexual life. It seems that one of the problems of sexuality of older women cannot find a partner. Health workers' attitudes towards sexual life in old age are very important in terms of continuing this period in a healthier way. There is a need to increase the work on how to approach the professional approach to sexuality in old age.
