The highest photocatalytic efficiency of ZnO-TiO 2 tandem structures is related to the band energies proximity which favors the charge carrier's mobility and promotes the formation of oxidative species during the photocatalytic degradation (Riboni et al, 2013;Guo et al, 2019;Zhang et al, 2020).
