“…This result was in line with research on seafarers (Shan and Neis, 2020), and taxi drivers (Husain et al, 2019, Friswell and Williamson, 2008, Useche et al, 2019. Additionally, personnel has increased risk-taking attitudes when facing multiple job demands such as work overload (Sandhåland et al, 2017, Santos et al, 2019, time pressure (Coeugnet et al, 2013), or physical demands (Demerouti et al, 2009). It has been well established that time pressure increases drivers' willingness to engage in risky behaviours, e.g., abrupt and aggressive application of brakes and speeding (Pawar et al, 2020, Zhang et al, 2020b, Zheng et al, 2019.…”

“…The research took into account both professional and non-professional factors influencing the increased risk of an accident. Research [6] found that work overload is related to the adoption of risky behaviours, and this fact may have an impact on the occurrence and severity of accidents. The disproportion in the incidence of accidents at work, road accidents, home and sports accidents, as well as the role of conditions and lifestyle is examined, in particular factors such as smoking, excessive alcohol consumption, obesity, taking psychotropic drugs, and disability, influence the risk of an accident [7][8][9].…”
