Abstract:Space Solar Power Stations are costly because of the great size of their radiating and receiving antennas. These sizes are the result of the divergence of the wave beam, which transmits the energy from space to the Earth. This is a matter of radiating and receiving antennas and their interaction. It is shown that a correct choice of the field distribution on the radiation antenna allows us to increase the wireless power transmission efficiency and to lessen its cost.

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
