Wireless Power Transmission Antennas: Peculiarities for the Space Power Systems

Abstract: Space Solar Power Stations are costly because of the great size of their radiating and receiving antennas. These sizes are the result of the divergence of the wave beam, which transmits the energy from space to the Earth. This is a matter of radiating and receiving antennas and their interaction. It is shown that a correct choice of the field distribution on the radiation antenna allows us to increase the wireless power transmission efficiency and to lessen its cost.
