Φ Abstract -This paper presents an analytical approach to characterize a flux concentration permanent magnet synchronous machines (PMSM) with fractional slot concentrated winding (FSCW). The very particular configuration of the studied machine leads the authors to associate a fictive winding to the stator coils in order to be able to determine the L d and L q inductances.
