What Drives Detection and Diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder? Looking Under the Hood of a Multi-stage Screening Process in Early Intervention

Abstract: U.S. guidelines for detecting autism emphasize screening and also incorporate clinical judgment. However, most research focusses on the former.
