What Determines the Choice of Tourist Destination? The Case of Denmark

Abstract: What determines the choice of tourist destination? Based on the comprehensive tourist surveys by VisitDenmark in 2004VisitDenmark in , 2008 and 2011, we find that both Danes and tourists from countries close to Denmark attach great importance to safety, but it is also important for nationalities such as Americans and Japanese.
