Abstract: Wczesnośredniowieczne figurki wielotwarzowe z terenów basenu Morza Bałtyckiego-dowód kontaktów międzykulturowych czy uniwersalny fenomen? Early mediaeval multi-faced figures from the area of the Baltic Sea basin-evidence of intercultural contacts or universalphenomenon? 1 Celowo nie podjęto takich zasadniczych problemów jak istota materialnej realizacji treści symbolicznych, idea miniaturyzacji, czy w końcu policefalizm, który już wielokrotnie był podnoszony w literaturze przedmiotu.
