Watery mouth disease in lambs: biochemical parameters before and after treatment

Abstract: in Danish dairy herds suffering from severe outbreaks of respiratory disease. The herds were chosen because of their clinical diagnosis. The presence of adenovirus or coronavirus may have resulted in more severe disease than BRSV alone.Lung lavage combined with the detection of viral antigen can be completed quickly and easily, and make it possible to establish a rapid diagnosis in the majority of BRSv-affected herds.Acknowledgements. -The authors are grateful to the participating veterinary practitioners for … Show more
