Warfare in Northern Mozambique, Late Sixteenth to Late Nineteenth Centuries

Abstract: Studies of precolonial African warfare are still relatively scarce and northern Mozambique is no exception. This paper examines more than three centuries of African warfare among the Makua of Macuana.
