Vulnerability level of target and by-catch species on tuna hand line (HL-TR) fishery in Indonesian Fisheries Management Area I-FMA 573 based at Sadeng Fishing Port

Abstract: Tuna hand line-trolling line (HL-TR) fisheries have an essential role in Indonesia’s tuna fisheries, including Indonesia Fisheries Management Areas (I-FMAs) 572 and 573. The catch of tuna line in I-FMA 572 and 573 reached ~30.4% of the total catch 189,022 tonnes in 2019.
