Voltammetric Determination of Isoniazid Drug in Various Matrix by Using CuOx Decorated MW‐CNT Modified Glassy Carbon Electrode

Abstract: Copper oxide decorated multi‐walled carbon nanotube (MWCNT) modified glassy carbon electrode (GCE) was prepared for determination of isoniazid (INZ) in various matrices. The electrochemical behavior of INZ was tested with the aid of Cyclic Voltammetry (CV) and quantitative experiments were performed by using Linear Sweep Voltammetry (LSV). Morphological and structural characterization of the modified electrode was performed by utilizing Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), X‐Ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy (XPS)… Show more

“…This disadvantage of the bare electrode has made the use of modified electrodes mandatory. In addition, electrode modification offers many more advantages such as lowering the over-potential, increasing the reaction rate and improving the sensitivity (Lou et al, 2020;Özdokur, 2020;Saleh et al, 2016).…”

“…Analytical methods such as spectrophotometry [4], mass-spectrometry [5], chromatography [6] and electrophoresis [7], electrochemistry [8] and their joint devices have been used for analytical purposes. Mainly, LC and CE methods have been used in conjunction with different spectroscopic systems (separate techniques, namely LC-MS and CE-MS) to obtain more chemical data and reduce the complication of multicomponent substance analysis.…”
