Vitamin D status in apparently healthy adults in Kashmir Valley of Indian subcontinent

Abstract: In spite of abundant sunlight, healthy individuals in Kashmir valley are vitamin D deficient, particularly women. Serum 25 (OH) D concentrations are significantly related to sun exposure.
