Vital signs remote monitoring through multipoint videoconferencing

Abstract: A system for remote monitoring of patients' vital signs using multipoint videoconferencing is proposed. A multiparametric module and a videoconference server were developed to set up a proof-of-concept where a text was streamed live as data was captured, while a third party monitored it.
