This study aimed to identify major topics and trends of media reports in news articles related to fitness centers before and after COVID-19 using big data analysis and to suggest future improvements. We collected 20,528 news articles from 2018 to 2019 (pre-COVID-19) and 20,264 news articles from 2020 to 2021 (post-COVID-19) and conducted frequency analysis, topic modeling, and sentiment analysis. The top keywords related to fitness centers were fitness, health, healthcare, and center both before and after COVID-19, but after the outbreak of COVID-19, new keywords emerged, such as digital, COVID-19, indoor, confirmed, platform, and mobile. Since the COVID-19 pandemic, four topics were extracted: COVID-19 and Exercise, Digital Smart Health Care, Health and Beauty, and Indoor Sports Facilities and Quarantine. Sentiment analysis showed that the frequency of negative words increased by approximately three times since the COVID-19 pandemic. Due to COVID-19, the top keywords of the negative data in order were infection, virus, disease, and limit. Based on the identified major issues and trends related to the fitness industry, these results can be used as foundational data for the future planning and policy development of the fitness industry.

The COVID-19 is a highly contagious infection which is already had a catastrophic effect on the most serious diseases, including death, around the world. Blockchain-based healthcare systems are being introduced to help simplify mobile and telehealth services, reducing patient stress and the cost of critical clinical services. shared the advantages of blockchain for building a cutting-edge authentication infrastructure and detecting COVID-19 suspicious cases. The authors presented a blockchain-based design for developing a real-time cellular health monitoring system for COVID-19 patients in this paper. This study identifies clinical problems and electronic diagnoses for people with COVID-19 infectious diseases and provides a framework for them. Any mobile application can be configured on digital devices such as smartphones. COVID-19 patients may benefit from such applications. Smartphone apps are designed to save time and money while increasing the efficiency of infectious patients. IoT and Blockchain strategies are presented in the four-layer structure.

Digital Financial Inclusion: COVID-19 Impacts and Opportunities

The COVID-19 pandemic has caused the acceleration of digitization and the consideration of digital financial inclusion as a means to minimize negative economic consequences and increase the resilience of households and SMEs. The purpose of this article was to assess the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on digital financial inclusion by constructing and calculating an integral index of digital financial inclusion (DFI) based on Global Findex Database indicators. The approach to calculating the DFI index and two sub-indices that characterized passive participation in financial relations and active use of digital technologies was based on a linear mathematical model of the integrated indicator and on the use of the Fishburn formula to calculate the weight coefficients. The obtained results proved the acceleration of digital financial inclusion in 2021 and revealed significant differences in DFI between countries and groups of countries according to income level as well as problems of financial exclusion of the most vulnerable groups of population, especially in developing countries. The obtained results regarding the level of DFI are discussed from the point of view of COVID-19 impacts: both directly by influencing consumer behavior and decisions regarding digital financial services and from a broader perspective by influencing business entities, financial service providers, and regulation.
