The physical and chemical properties of acrylamide polymers and copolymers in aqueous, aqueous-salt, and aqueous-organic media are analysed. The main emphasis is given to the assessment of the effect of the medium quality on the conformation state of the macromolecules in the solution. Particular attention is directed to acrylamide polymers and copolymers with ionogenic groups, as these exhibit most interesting features of synthesis and a complex of solution properties. FortschrittsberichtDie physikalischen und chemischen Eigenschaften von Acrylamidpolymeren und -copolymeren in wPDrigen, wgljrigen Salz-Medien und wlDrig-organischen Medien werden untersucht. Das Hauptaugenmerk wird auf die EinschPtzung des Einflusses des Losungsmittels auf den Konformationszustand der Makromolekiile in der Losung gerichtet. Insbesondere werden Acrylamidpolymere und -copolymere mit ionogenen Gruppen betrachtet, da diese im Hinblick auf den Synthesepro-zeB sowie ihre Eigenschaften in Losung sehr interessant sind.
