Virus Control at the Santee, Calif., Project

Abstract

This article summarizes the virus control program for recreational waters at Santee, California. Studies included microbiological identification of virus and bacteria, hydrology investigations of the natural aquifer, aquatic biology determinations including vector control and fish propagation, physical and chemical analyses of the waters, and the usual parameters defining treatment effectiveness of wastewater.
