The core values of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect (DEIR) were implemented by considering expertise, gender, career stage, geological location, and backgrounds in academia and industry. An international technical committee comprised of 29 technical experts were assembled and chaired by Yunlong Zhang. Two technical advisors, Profs. Murray R. Gray and Peter K. Kilpatrick, provided counseling on general topics. The technical committee was instrumental on advising technical topical areas, nominating keynote speakers, and reviewing and ranking abstracts. Their contributions are greatly acknowledged, and their names are listed below according to the technical areas that they were assigned:(1) emulsion and interfacial phenomena:
