Virtual-Flux-Based Predictive Direct Power Control of Three-Phase PWM Rectifiers With Fast Dynamic Response

Abstract: This paper proposes a power predictive control (PPC) method for three-phase pulse width modulated (PWM) rectifiers without a proportional-integral (PI) controller. The proposed PPC method calculates the optimized voltage vector by analyzing the relationship between the virtual flux, active power, converter voltage, and filter parameters. Thus an overshoot does not occur and the fast and accurate power control becomes possible. The predictive algorithm computes the power error that would be produced by applying… Show more

“…그 결과 낮은 스위칭 주파 수로 인해 출력 전류의 큰 리플 성분이 존재한다 [15], [16] . 높은 스위칭 주파수를 보장하여 출력의 리플 성분을 저감시키기 위해서 공간벡터변조기법(Space vector modulation, SVM)기반의 방법들이 연구되었다 [22], [23] . [22] [17], [18] .…”

“…Despite its simplicity, the AC-line currents derivative is required. Since this solution presents high noise sensitivity, other methods have been developed using virtual flux (VF) concept [9], [10], [16]- [21], Kalman filters [22], [23], disturbance observers [14], [24], hybrid parallel observers [25] and Luenberger observers [26]. Adaptive fullorder observers [12], [27] have been also proposed for grid voltage sensorless control.…”
