“…If the capsule remained in the stomach after domperidone administration, it was passed into the duodenum by upper gastrointestinal endoscopy [10,11]. The complete video obtained in each SBCE was reviewed by 2 gastroenterologists with vast experience in capsule endoscopy using Rapid ® Reader Software, at a rate of 8-15 frames per second [12].…”

“…Domperidone was used (10 mg) if the SBCE remained in the stomach for over 1h (assessed through real-time viewing) (4) . Four gastroenterologists with experience in SBCE (>100 examinations), whose inter-observer percentage of agreement was previously shown to be near-perfect (5,6) reviewed the exams using conventional viewing (reading speed was defined as 10-12 fps in single image view for all patients). Another expert (>250 SBCE examinations), blinded to the initial capsule findings, marked down all SBI findings.…”

SBI is easily assessable during SBCE video review, and may be found under the "Tools" tab ( Figure 1).…”

“…Cotter et al [25] evaluated whether VC can improve the delineation of SBLs previously detected by conventional white-light SBCE. In their study, 100 lesions were reviewed using the 3 FICE settings and the blue filter.…”
