Vida média de labor dos enfermeiros egressos da escola de enfermagem de Ribeirão Preto, USP - Brasil

Abstract: This study aimed at measuring the average working time in health care of nurses graduating from the University of São Paulo at Ribeirão Preto College of Nursing, Brazil. This research includes 1,112 nurses who graduated from 1957 to 1990. It is a descriptive cross-sectional study. Data were obtained from March, 1992 to February, 1993. Statistical methods for survival data analysis were used. The average time was 18.12 years.
