Die r o t b b r a u n e Liieuiig in euglischer Schwefelsaurr wird auf Zusatz voii wwig Wrtsser zunaclist g r l b , welche Farbe erst riach sehr starkeiri Verdiinnen und theilweisern Neutralisiren der SHure in v i o l e t t unishlagt. Die rothbraune Farbe entspricht dein d r e i s a u r i g e n Salz, dir gelbe d e m j e u i g e i i z w e i s a u r i g e n , in welchrni neben dem 0x0niuni-Sauerstoff noch die irn Henzolkern befindliche Anriiiogruppe abgzslttigt ist, und rndlich dir violette dern ei n s a u r i g e i i Oxoniuriisnlz init freien hminogruppen. Die Thatsachen, auf welche sich dieee Anschauung gruodet, werden bei auderer Gelegenbeit discutirt werden. l a o n i r t e Bauniwolle wird durch die wlssrige Liisurig diesrs einfachstrn Nilblaus schon blauviolett gefarbt. Die Farbnng ist gut seifenecht und massig lichtecht.
