Abstract

In the epidermis and scales from patients having psoriasis two proteins were found immunologically which were not present in healthy skin. These are low molecular weight and relatively stable skin proteins and were found to be characteristic of, although not specific for, psoriasis, as they were also present in other exfoliative skin diseases.
