Verbindungen der Siliciumtetrahalogenide mit aromatischen N‐Heterocyclen

Abstract

Im System Siliciumtetrahalogenid‐Pyridin werden von SiF4, SiCl4, SiBr4 und SiHCl3 unter beträchtlicher Wärmeentwicklung Verbindungen des Typs SiHlg4Py2, von SiJ4 allein eine Verbindung des Typs SiHlg4Py4 gebildet. Dem Pyridin verwandte Heterocyclen wie α‐Picolin, Collidin, Chinolin und Acridin reagieren nur mit SiJ4 zu Verbindungen der Zusammensetzung SiJ4 · 4 Chinolin (usw.). Methylchlorsilane sowie Kohlenstofftetrahalogenide verbinden sich nicht mehr mit Pyridin. Man kann auch nicht Thiophen an Stelle des Pyridins mit Siliciumtetrachlorid umsetzen. Für die Existenz von Zwischenverbindungen mit anderen Zahlenverhältnissen als 1:2 bzw. 1:4 ergaben sich aus kalorimetrischen Titrationen keine Anhaltspunkte. Pyridin läßt sich aus den Verbindungen durch alkalische Zersetzung quantitativ zurückgewinnen. Die Literaturangaben über SiF4Py2 und SiBr4Py2 konnten bestätigt, die Existenz eines SiCl4Py2 sichergestellt werden. Dagegen existieren nicht die Verbindungen 2 SiF4 · 3 Chinolin und SiCl4 · 2 Chinolin. Siliciumtetrachlorid setzt sich mit Harnstoff wie mit Urethan zu einer Verbindung der Zusammensetzung SiCl4 · 6 CO(NH2)2 um. Die erhaltenen Verbindungen werden in ihren Eigenschaften beschrieben, zur Identifizierung ihre Debyeogramme mitgeteilt. Eine Diskussion über die Konstitution der Verbindungen führt zu den — wahrscheinlichsten — Formeln [SiHlg4Py2], [SiPy4]J4 und [Si(CO NH2)6]Cl4. Die Pyridinverbindungen können im Sinne einer Schotten‐Baumannschen Reaktion zu Tetraalkoxysilanen umgesetzt werden. Siliciumtetrachlorid und Siliciumchloroform lassen sich durch Zugabe von Chinolin leicht von gelöstem Chlorwasserstoff befreien. Zur Darstellung des Siliciumtetrajodids wird eine vereinfachte Methode angegeben.

Coordination of silicon tetrafluoride with pyridine and other nitrogen electron-pair donor molecules
