“…Digoxin administra tion does not seem to produce any particular form of ventricular ectopic activity, and the type that occurs is mainly dependent on the cardiac state of the patient. Surawicz and Macdonald [1964] described a 'clear zone' in variable coupling, ectopics clustering close to the T wave and at the end of electrical diastole. This was not confirmed possibly because of the stringent criteria used to exclude aberrant conduction.…”
