Abstract:Hemangiomas are benign vascular tumors. They are categorized histologically as capillary, cavernous, and venous. Both cavernous and venous hemangiomas contain large dilated vessels. However, the vascular channels in venous hemangiomas are characterized by thick fibrous walls containing smooth muscle.
