Abstract:Vector-boson scattering processes are at the heart of the physics program of the CERN Large Hadron Collider. This short contribution aims at giving a review on recent precision calculations for this important class of reactions. After a survey of fixed-order perturbative calculations the status of their matching to parton-shower programs is summarized. A brief outlook on new avenues in the exploration of vector-boson scattering completes the contribution.

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
