The main aim of this study is to investigate to what extent equity crowdfunding could enable firms to outsource research and development activities. Likewise, the present study aims at analyzing the relationship between desorptive capacity and equity crowdfunding performance. We also aim at studying the mediation role of ICT firms capabilities, connective capacity and minor equity ownership. In this regard, this study intends to pioneer into connecting the knowledge management theory with the crowdfunding studies. A sample of 180 projects based on the top ten European equity crowdfunding platforms has been used. Findings indicate that desorptive capacity enables companies in developing external knowledge retention and expoitation wich in turn enhance equity crowdfunding performance.

The article is devoted to researching of digital technologies implementation and development processes at state and regions economy. The research pays particular attention to using digital technologies at socioeconomic systems of Russian Federation subjects. The research purpose consists in identifying the problems preventing from widespread implementation of digital innovations in the economic processes of territorial subjects, contributing to the reconstruction of the economy to a new technological structure, as well as developing recommendations for work improving aimed to implementing targeted digitalization of society and business. The research methodology is based on using of economic and mathematical research methods and is based on using of statistical analysis techniques aided method for scoring the results of introducing digital technologies and their influence on the rating of each subject in the Central Federal District structure. The result of the research is an analysis of the conditions for the implementation and development of digital technologies in the economic systems of the regions of the Central Federal District, they are assessed, the digitization indicators that most significantly influence the level of development of the regional socioeconomic system are identified. The research found significant influence of digital technologies using indicators on the innovative development of territories, ensuring their socioeconomic development and competitiveness. The proposed methodology is universal in nature and can be recommended to regional administrations and business representatives to determine the state of digital technologies implementation in the economy and their impact on economic growth.

The article deals with the analysis of the processes of human capital development in the context of the introduction of digital technologies in the Federation subjects. The hypothesis of the study is the assumption that the human capital accumulating in the regions has a decisive influence on the formation of conditions and prerequisites for the active introduction of digital technologies. The complexity of the proof lies in the lack of the sufficient amount of required statistics. The base for research methodology is the use of statistical and comparative analysis methods. Based on their application, the state of higher and secondary education in Russia for the period from 2000 to 2018 is analyzed, then a comparison is made with the number of specialists of higher and secondary levels working in the digital economy of the Russian Federation in the whole. The assessment of the main indicators of the digital economy development in the federal districts of the Russian Federation made it possible to establish significant differences in the use of various types of digital technologies, which allowed ranking the territories. A further analysis of the formation and development of human capital by sectors of the economy revealed its highest rate in education, healthcare and culture. In manufacturing, the accumulation of this capital turned out to be 2 times lower, and in construction-4 times lower. An assessment of the use of digital innovations in the Russian Federation and the Central Federal District showed that all areas of the use of digital products are showing growth. The analysis made possible to draw a conclusion about the priority influence of the education level of human capital on the state of general digitalization of the regional economies.
