Validation of previously identified serum biomarkers for breast cancer with SELDI-TOF MS: a case control study

Abstract: BackgroundSerum protein profiling seems promising for early detection of breast cancer. However, the approach is also criticized, partly because of difficulties in validating discriminatory proteins.
