“…This may be connected with the poor aqueous solubility of PR driving the apportioning of PR into oil centre of PR‐NEs. Similar high entrapment efficiencies (>98%) have been detected in a number of other nanoemulsion systems .…”

“…Entrapment efficiencies of PR‐NE (PR 3 mg mL −1 ), PR‐NE (PR 6 mg mL −1 ) and PR‐NE (PR 9 mg mL −1 ) were determined with ultrafiltration–centrifugation method. Hardly any PR could be detected in the aqueous phase, indicating that the entrapment efficiencies were nearly 100% . This may be connected with the poor aqueous solubility of PR driving the apportioning of PR into oil centre of PR‐NEs.…”

“…Moreover, nanoemulsion preparations improved the bioavailability quercetin or methylquercetin [64]. Quercetin, a polyphenol from the flavonoid group of, has been found in many fruits, vegetables, leaves, and grains (Figure 4).…”

“…Their bioactive role enhances cosmeceutical value with lower toxicity. [161][162][163][164] Recently, quercetin-rich nanoemulsions, in the size range of 200-300 nm, were prepared from the ethanolic extract of Achyrocline satureioides and showed increased skin retention of bioactive compounds with enhanced antioxidant activities in porcine skin studies. 164 In another study, genistein, a soy bioactive compound, coloaded with tocomin, acts as multiple nanoemulsions with the particle size of 173-208 nm and showed enhanced skin protection from UV damage.…”
