“…Since 1999 an updated version of the EM, the High Resolution Model (HRM), is available and used instead of REMO-GKSS. Johnsen and Rockel (2000) showed that the HRM produces an overall too moist atmosphere, since the operational analyses taken as initial and boundary data have also been too moist.
