A simple waveguide vacuum port for hundreds MW pulse transmission at S-band is proposed. It uses the series inductive post-wall to improve the characteristics of the RF leakage attenuation and maximize the unit area of the vacuum port related with effective pumping speed. This type of vacuum port significantly increases RF leakage attenuation above 250 dB without RF electrical breakdown phenomena and provides simple structure to enhance the conductance C wg2p of the waveguide vacuum port found to be around 0:7C wg for above 250 dB RF leakage attenuation.ABSTRACT: Microstrip bandpass filter with fragment-loaded resonators is proposed and designed using multiobjective evolutionary algorithm based on decomposition combined with enhanced genetic operators (MOEA/D-GO). When loaded by fragment-type structures, microstrip resonators may have compact size and operate at different modes. By properly setting the modes of fragment-loaded resonators in objectives of MOEA/D-GO, stopband attenuation and spurious passband suppression of the microstrip bandpass filter can be readily adjusted and controlled.

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
