Vaccines distribution system at primary healthcares in the special region of Yogyakarta

Abstract: Background: Vaccine cold-chain distribution system must be monitored to guarantee the vaccine quality. Improper vaccine distribution system can cause damage and loss of efficacy. “…68 Hasil wawancara dari semua informan memiliki jawaban yang hampir sama dimana mereka selalu melakukan pengecekan terhadap vaksin yang datang ke puskesmas. Hal tersebut merupakan prosedur penerimaan vaksin yang telah sesuai dengan Cara Distribusi Obat yang Baik (CDOB) dimana seluruh fasilitas layanan kesehatan primer harus memeriksa vaksin yang diterimanya dengan memperhatikan aspek nama vaksin, jumlah, kondisi, nomor batch, tanggal kadaluarsa, keberadaan alat pemantau suhu, VVM, dan dokumen penyerahan (Medisa & Nugraheni, 2018). Selain itu, hasil temuan yang kami lakukan juga sejalan dengan penelitian yang dilakukan oleh Zulhaswita et al, (2023) menyebutkan bahwa penerimaan vaksin dapat tergolong baik apabila kegiatan penerimaan vaksin meliputi pemeriksaan kelengkapan administrasi (lembar permintaan dan lembar penerimaan vaksin), pemeriksaan fisik vaksin (kejernihan, warna, bentuk), pemeriksaan VVM, pemeriksaan jumlah vaksin, nomor batch, masa kedaluwarsa, serta mencatat suhu vaksin pada saat sampai di puskesmas.…”
