Abstract: Examination in focal illumination by monocular ophthalmique loupe is well proved routine method (Helmholtz, Graefe) by which the anterior segment of the eye except the chamber angle, can be examined. The chamber angle, however. cannot be viewed by this method owing to the total internla1 reflexion based on the corneal curvature.
