The emergence of environmental historiography, for the first time, organically combined the history of the environment and human history and began to pay attention to the close relationship between human social changes and environmental changes. This paper explores the impact of environmental history on education from the perspective of environmental history. This paper explores and analyzes the history of the educational environment from the perspective of environmental history and studies the laws and characteristics behind the evolution of the relationship between education and environment. This paper analyzes the influence of environmental history on the three views of college students under environmental education. Further analysis of educational environmental history is improved to improve the three views of college students and promote the social development of research significance. The study of educational environmental history is of great significance to enlarge the field of educational history research, enrich the content of educational history research, and perfect the discipline construction of educational history. At the same time, the environmental perspective and ecological consciousness of educational environmental history research are the embodiment and adherence of Marxist historical materialism and environmental view.

With the development of China’s economy, education has also been greatly improved, and the enrollment scale has been continuously expanded. It has become increasingly difficult to manage student performance. The traditional manual management of student grades has shortcomings such as low efficiency, poor privacy, difficulty to find and maintain, and incomplete knowledge mining of student grade data resources, so it is impossible to fully test and utilize related technologies. Based on this background, this paper designs and develops a set of decision support systems for middle school education management combined with a sparse clustering algorithm according to the actual needs of middle school education. The article first introduces the concept of sparse clustering algorithm and the four levels of the decision support system for middle school education management, data layer, model layer, application layer, and display layer, and then introduces based on five system models, namely, database design, online analysis process module design, data mining design, model library design, function design, and finally, the system model of educational decision management support is constructed, and the model test is completed. The practice shows that the system proposed in this paper can manage the current educational information of students scientifically, extract the information from the changes in students’ achievements in time, and make certain assistance for teachers’ educational decisions. This paper designs an effective decision support system by studying the sparse clustering algorithm and introducing it into the field of middle school education management.

IOE (Institute of Education), UCL’s Faculty of Education and Society (University College London, UK) has a long tradition of engagement with schools to support young children’s learning and co-produce knowledge through research–practice partnerships. From the first demonstration schools in the early 1900s to engagement with contemporary research schools, the vital importance of linking theory and practice in education through schools has been an integral part of the IOE’s values and ethos. One way to link theory to practice is to utilise participatory research methodologies to embed evidence in practice. This article discusses the research project Manor Park Talks, undertaken in collaboration with IOE and a leading partner, a head teacher and IOE alumnus of the East London Teaching and Research School. The aim of the project was to support early language and communication in a cluster of early years settings in Newham, London, and it involved a process of co-production in the design of a systematic review to assess the evidence-based pedagogical strategies that can be used to inform teaching practices to enhance the professional development of early years education practitioners (to include teachers, classroom assistants, childcare workers and other ancillary staff). The research aimed to evaluate a community of practice for early years practitioners to support young children’s early language development and communication, and to inform an evidence-based practice tool to guide teaching practices in early years settings. A commentary on the review findings and methodological innovation of the study in using a participatory approach to review the evidence is provided in this article.
