Using mesh and multi-ring methods in the design of survivable wavelength-routed all-optical networks

Abstract: SUMMARYThis paper presents a comprehensive investigation of a wide range of protection strategies against all single link failures in all-optical wavelength division multiplexing (WDM) networks based on mesh and multi-ring architectures.
