Using GIS for public transport analysis – the case study of Hanoi, Vietnam

Abstract: Developing countries face the problem of overcrowded streets. It is caused by rapid urbanization processes, meanwhile, a development of public transport services is insufficient. Nowadays, southeast Asia cities invest in rapid transit systems. Construction of a metro line demands big financial expenses to create its infrastructure.
