Using foresight to improve the efficiency of process equipment design

Abstract: The study is intended for engineers designing hybrid systems. The analytic hierarchy method was used as the main tool of foresight. Nowadays, some experience in the design of optoelectronic systems is accumulated. However, in most cases, designers have to sort through all possible factors and parameters of devices. The involvement of experts for questionnaire survey will reduce the time range of designing. The results of the study show a high consistency of experts' opinions with the Kendall coefficient value … Show more

“…Each factor in the experiment was varied at five levels according to Table 2. A priori, the main design factors of the grader affecting the response of the NIR grading process [45] were identified: the NIR wavelength, λ r(NIR) (x 1 ); the inclination angle from the light source, α (x 2 ); and the seed pipe height, h sp (x 3 ).…”

“…The quality of the seeds is closely correlated with their spectrometric properties. Moreover, the effectiveness of performing a group of seeding operations (including aerial seeding [231] on hard-to-cultivate areas) depends on the quality of seeds [3,6,12,13,34,72,79,85,89,107,111,115,139,143,175,203,217,[223][224][225][226][227][228][229][230].…”
