Use of Sodium Dodecyl Sulfate in Serodiagnosis of Barley Stripe Mosaic Virus in Embryos and Leaves

Abstract: Sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS) was used in the serodiagnosis of barley double-diffusion technique in which SDS replaced Leonil SA as the viral stripe mosaic virus (BSMV) in embryos and leaves. Antisera elicited by degrading agent. Filter paper disks served as seroreactant depots.
