“…For the FFA adsorption process, the values of k 2 (1.87 × 10 -1 ) and q e (30.40 mg/g) were obtained at an R 2 (0.9986) for UPPA, while k 2 (3.0 × 10 -1 g/mg min) and q e (1.76 mg/g) respectively, following a coefficient of determination R 2 value of 0.9862 was recorded for the clay sorption of FFA.
