In the current era of the industrial revolution 4.0, students are required to have 21st century skills. The 21st century skills in question are students mastering the 4C skills, that are Communication, Collaboration, Critical thinking and Creativity skills. These four skills must be possessed by students to face the world in the 21st century. One of the current learning approaches that strongly supports the achievement of 21st century skills is STEM-based learning (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics). In supporting the interdisciplinary success of STEM in physics learning, it is necessary to have effective teaching materials, one of which is a module that students can use independently. In this case, the product developed is an integrated STEM physics e-module to improve the 21st century skills of class XI high school students. The e-module was developed using Flip PDF Professional software with reference to the plomp model. This research is carried out until the development or prototype stage. The research results obtained are the development of STEM integrated physics e-modules to improve students' 21st century skills which have been developed to be valid and practical to use in learning

ICT tools provided an alternative and effective direction to teaching and learning during COVID. The goal of this research is to investigate the effects of ICT on teacher-student communication during COVID-19. Quantitative research design was employed. A sample size of 40 teachers and 100 students from four public secondary schools was selected. Data were gathered through a closed-ended questionnaire carrying 14 statements. Purposive sampling was used. Data were analyzed through SPSS software. Standard deviation and independent sample t-test were run. Overall, it was found that all participants (teachers and students) find ICT tools useful in teacher-student communication but there were difference of opinion between male and female teachers about the role of ICT in communication based on different applications whereas male and female students showed similar responses.

Technical visits of installations related to course content can support learning, engagement and motivation of engineering students. However, the COVID-19 lockdown has prevented many in-person activities on campuses. In this work, we propose a framework for developing virtual tours, which we applied to replace in-person visits of heating, ventilating and air-conditioning (HVAC) rooms of buildings located on the campus in an HVAC undergraduate course. The virtual tours rely on many pictures taken in the mechanical rooms, as well as on technical drawings and information integrated in the visits. Students were provided in advance with a series of questions which they had to answer by navigating through the virtual tours. A survey allowed to assess what students appreciated and the difficulties that they encountered during the virtual visits. We found that the virtual visits had several advantages compared to in-person visits, such as allowing students to take the tour at their own pace and extending the learning experience to include other features (e.g. reading technical drawings). Different examples and suggestions of improvement are presented in the paper. The tours had a positive impact on students’ learning and engagement, with overall positive feedbacks from the students. The main hurdle encountered by students was the difficulty to locate themselves in the rooms, which we addressed by adding room layouts in the visits.
