which were in turn broken down into periods of "summer" and "winter," the aim of which was to prove the thesis that there exists a change in the flood risk dynamics during both the summer and winter periods. The thesis put forward is compatible with the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) report from February 2016 and provides an additional answer as to the direction of climate change for the studied area. Material and Methods The main purpose of our project was to use aquatic environments as a tool for flood risk management in terms of the climate change dynamics. The chosen paradigm and research methods are described below.
