Use Case Realization in Software Reverse Engineering

Abstract: The Use Case Diagram (UCD) is a visual form of system design that helps software developers comprehend the system behavior. Maintaining and updating the system can be a difficult task when it has no visualization of a system behavior or software requirement specification document. Reverse engineering is an approach used to extract software requirement specifications from the existing systems. Research in reverse engineering has shown various techniques in which the processes are not fully understood. This stud… Show more

“…These obtained results, complemented by other research [73][74][75][76], suggest that it is a priority to address the following: (a) the establishment of new standards of characterization and change in the Unified System based on the performance of materials and biomaterials that ensure that the industry can benefit from a breakthrough with a high degree of replicability and confidence, as well as new tools to anticipate or simulate the long-term performance of these unique components; (b) the advanced and computer characterization of materials that require "machine-driven" data development and analysis, from the comparison of construction codes and standards with materials and biomaterials based on our own indicators for urban metabolism and the decarbonization of the city and buildings that allow for the realization of the digitalization of the development of materials to achieve the green transition, based on an integrated system to define the optimal, that is, cost, time, and resources; and (c) the model-based definition necessary for component design changes, which must be established on digital specifications that link the microstructure and evaluation of mechanisms, geometric characteristics, and the specific location of properties with manufacturing process routes for the optimization of process design for industrial applications aimed at balancing ecology and efficiency.…”

“…In this paper adopted three UML diagrams which are use case diagram as a representative of system context and describes the system functional requirements, class diagram illustrates a system static's structure and the relationships between different objects and communication diagram. The Use Case Diagram (UCD) is a visual form of system design that helps software developers comprehend the system behavior [20]. List of actors are the stakeholders involved in AQA system represented in difference tables based on the AQA phases.…”
